The Harbor Beach and American Legion Cart Derby was held on this beautiful sunny day. There were 33 drivers in four divisions. Racing was very intense as every year drivers and carts continue to improve and competition gets tighter and tighter. Clark Ramsey and Erik Kociba were the race commentators and welcomed drivers with the playing of the National Anthem and driver introductions. Drivers came from as far away as Dundee, MI (Ben, Samantha, and Drew Schwab) and many from Genesee, Macomb, and Oakland counties as well as local drivers. The Harbor Beach Lions Club lunch wagon was on site with food and beverages available. Racing started on time at 9:00 AM as the fun and excitement continued to build throughout the day. Everyone including the racers, spectators and workers had a great day of downhill gravity racing. Congratulations to all the drivers, sponsors, workers and race committee on a job well done.
